BT Voyager 2110 Firmware Upgrade Instructions

Any firmware upgrade is performed at your own risk. Your BT Voyager could be permanently corrupted if upgrade is performed incorrectly. BT cannot accept responsibility if your product becomes corrupted as a result of a firmware upgrade


Warning

This firmware is only for BT Voyager 2110 users who reside in the Republic of Ireland (ROI). This firmware is the same as version 3.01q but is proconfigured to work with the ADSL broadband service supplied in the ROI. Installation of thsi firmare on any 2110 outside of this area will result in a router that will not connect to your broadband service.

Your current settings will be lost after performing this upgrade. You will have to reconfigure your BT Voyager before you can connect to the Internet again. Please keep a note of your current settings before following the steps below.

Ensure the power supply to the BT Voyager is correctly fitted and accidental power failure cannot happen during firmware upgrade. Also, close down any applications on your computer before browsing the BT Voyager Control Panel.

  • Download the Firmware Upgrade.
  • Unzip the files to your hard disk.
  • Connect a computer to the Voyager 2110 and browse to http://192.168.1.1 to view the BT Voyager Control Panel.

Note: For upgrading the Voyager 2110, it is strongly recommended to connect your computer using the Ethernet port. Your BT Voyager 2110 could be permanently damaged if a wireless connection is broken during the upgrade.

  • Click Advanced then System then Upgrade in the menu on the left.
  • Click Browse then browse to the cfe-voyager2110_roi-v362_a2pb022f file that is found within the Voyager 2110 ROI Firmware folder that was created when you unzipped the downloaded file.
  • Click Upgrade. Wait for upgrade to finish, then click Restart.
  • You might have to Refresh your browser to view the new Control Panel.
