From time to time there will be security updates and fixes for the voyager 2100 this process will take you through the upgrade process.

1. First we need to access the voyager home page to download the latest version of the firmware from here http://www.voyager.bt.com/2100/downloads.htm
   



2. Select the latest voyager 2100 firmware from the list.

3. It will now display a warning and a link to the file select this link and save the file to a folder on your desktop in this case we have called it New Firmware.


4. Open the new folder and it will display the firmware file in its compressed format and double click on the file and select the unzip option.

5. We will now have the firmware in a new folder called BT Voyager 2100 Firmware.

6. Now go back to the internet explorer screen and in the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 to open the voyager control panel select advances on the left hand side and then system followed by the upgrade link.

7. It will ask you to logon by default the username and the password are set to admin unless you changed them ok this to continue to the upgrade screen.

8. Once in side the upgrade screen select the browse option and go to the folder we created on the desktop and then to the BT Voyager 2100 Firmware folder and select the firmware file and select open.

9. This will now display the path to the new firmware file as long as this is correct select the upgrade button.

10. It will go through the process of uploading the firmware and then saving the firmware as well once this is done the voyager will reset itself the entire process will take roughly 2 minutes.


11. To confirm that the firmware upgrade was loaded correctly open internet explorer and go back into the voyager control panel and again go to advanced and system and then upgrade the new firmware version will be displayed here.
